In Cap-Haïtien and across the Nord-Est, too many patients start over every time they walk into a new clinic. Test results left behind. Medications forgotten. A history that exists only in memory, if it exists at all. BAHM was built to change that.
BAHM (Balthazard Health Monitoring) is an electronic health record system designed specifically for the hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies of northern Haiti — a place where continuity of care can mean the difference between a treatable condition and a crisis. When a patient's record moves with them, a provider in Fort Liberté can pick up exactly where a hospital in Cap-Haïtien left off. A pharmacist can catch a dangerous interaction before it happens. A mother doesn't have to retell her child's medical history for the fifth time this year.
This isn't a system built elsewhere and adapted for Haiti. It was built here, for here — by a nurse practitioner student with deep roots in this community, alongside a team that shares her commitment to seeing it through. BAHM exists because northern Haiti deserves healthcare infrastructure as strong as the people it serves.
